flowers from outside...

our backyard is in full bloom, so i decided to make an arrangement with stuff from out there.  i could experiment a bit and save some money at the same time.


i used sweet potato vine leaves to "hide" the stems of all the other flowers.  just tucked them in the sides of the vase.

we have hydrangeas, black eyed susans, and purple cone flowers in bloom right now

i needed some height, so i added crepe myrtle branches.

put it in a box with candles, and my table has a fresh arrangement!
